InStyle Magazine, two months running!

Joy O designer jewelry has been featured in InStyle Magazine for the last 2 months – this month’s issue currently on newsstands (november) and in process of being changed to next month’s issue (december)… it’s super exciting to see our jewelry in print. There’s not really anything like it… except seeing it on TV and celebrities too! sometimes I have to pinch myself. Dressing for the Holidays – Event at Studio 3579 this Thursday, 6-9pm

Here come the holidays,with sparking long evenings, filled with parties and events! We all want to look fabulous, but with lives to lead and presents to buy, how to keep it easy? We’re kicking off the party season this Thursday, 11/6, from 6-9pm – Rachel Fauman, of Ensemble Personal Image Consulting will be on hand to give some guidance on holiday dressing, as well as ideas for gifts for those on your shopping list. As always, the hottest selections and new designs for holiday outfits, designer jewelry, and new vegan handbags will make it easy to find the perfect look! Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion San Francisco TONIGHT

Gen Art’s annual Fresh Faces in Fashion San Francisco is TONIGHT and Joy O Designs is this year’s featured jewelry designer! I’m so honored and excited to be featured – this event is, in their own words, “For the last 13 years, Gen Art’s anchor event, Fresh Faces in Fashion, has shown some of the best emerging fashion designers in womenswear, menswear and accessories on the runway and given runway debuts to fashion’s rising stars including Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, Philip Lim (for Development), Katy Rodriguez, Sari Gueron, Shoshanna, Louis Verdad, Chaiken and many more.” They also work with Project Runway to cast their show about emerging design talent! I love that show. I don’t have cable, so I have to watch it all afterwards on dvd, but I love to binge a whole season of project runway in one weekend anyway. 😉

Some jewelry designers that have been featured are Deka Ray, Ninaki, Sarah McGuire, and so many others,  it’s great company to be in!
